"Our building experience was complex and protracted, involving significant regulatory, environmental, engineering, and archaeological challenges. Facet worked closely with us over three years to navigate these hurdles before construction could even begin, and their guidance and support were greatly appreciated. The construction phase itself was exceptionally well planned, supervised, and staffed with the Valley’s finest craftsmen, workers, and subcontractors. Keen attention to detail prevented surprises and the job site was consistently cleaned up at the end of each day, with tools safely stored.
Communication was outstanding and we were also very impressed by the thoughtful design ideas Facet offered during the initial stages and throughout the project, many of which we incorporated. We built the home with the goal of achieving a strong Step 4 certification, which we were thrilled to accomplish. The fit and finish were flawless.
In the end, we realized the dream home we had always envisioned for this property. The house advanced to the finals in several award categories and ultimately won a VIBI award here on Vancouver Island. The entire Facet team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They took genuine pride in building our home. We also engaged Facet’s Landscape Designer to beautifully refinish the entire property under her expert direction.
